Day in the Life: 

Under direct supervision, the Accreditation Specialist 1 implements patient safety programs. This is an on-site position in Twin Falls, Idaho, supporting our Magic Valley location. Some travel will be required. This travel will be day-trips to our locations in Wood River, Jerome and Boise, Idaho.

 

What to Expect: 

  • Acts as the primary resource for assigned departments/sites for services related to the relevant regulatory program.
  • Conducts and coordinates accreditation/regulatory standards-based audits.
  • Assesses accreditation findings or risks, facilitates analysis, and recommends interventions.
  • Tracks and evaluates action plans in response to accreditation findings.
  • Supports implementation of system accreditation programs, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Documents and prepares reports for distribution to stakeholders.
  • Assists in the development and presentation of educational accreditation programs.
  • Applies accreditation standards and survey methodology to basic issues and problems; escalates more complex issues to department leadership.
  • Possesses novice/beginning to working level knowledge of subject matter.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
