What You Can Expect:

 

  • Be part of a collaborative and innovative team that is constantly evolving to meet the unique needs of our pediatric patients.
  • Flexible Schedule: Enjoy variable shifts, including days and evenings, that allow for a balanced work-life schedule.
  • Provide age-appropriate, play-based interventions and develop care plans that align with each patient’s medical and psychosocial needs.
  • Promote the emotional, social, and cognitive growth of patients, considering the context of their family, culture, and developmental stage.
  • Enhance patients’ and families’ understanding of medical procedures and diagnoses using developmentally appropriate techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in Child Life development, Early childhood education or Pediatric psychology
  • Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS)
