The Patient Specialist helps support Patient Access and provides an exceptional patient experience through courteous and professional interactions. The Patient Specialist greets patients, schedules appointments, and collects relevant patient demographic and financial information to ensure a comfortable and efficient process. The Patient Specialist utilizes excellent customer service skills to ensure all patients feel informed, at ease and appreciated. In conjunction with site leadership, the Patient Specialist helps coordinate administrative functions and serves as a mentor and onsite resource.  

 

Required Criteria 

 

   High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Criteria

 

   2 years of experience in customer service or a health related field

   Medical terminology background
