St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for a St. Luke’s Connect Specialist 1 to join our team!

 

The St. Luke’s Connect Specialist works in the contact center and is the first point of contact for many customers, including patients, consumers and providers. The Specialist 1 is responsible for navigating patients through the care continuum, including facilitating nurse triage calls, technical support for St. Luke’s online medical record, accurately scheduling office and diagnostic appointments, and many other services. We utilize excellent customer service standards, without the sales pressure of some contact centers. Connect agents are trained to use multiple computer applications through our dynamic training program. Advancement opportunities are available within the department, in as little as 4 months for qualified individuals. This full time position has many shifts opportunities, with hours ranging from 6am-9pm Sunday-Saturday. Competitive wages and excellent benefit package offered.

 

Required Criteria 

 

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of higher education, or equivalent 2 years work experience in healthcare or a professional office setting.
  • Demonstrated basic medical terminology knowledge and/or customer service skill set gained through education/work experience.
