Day in the Life: 

The Supervisor Supply Chain 2 provides assistance managing the activities of the supply chain operations. Responsibilities entail accountability based on measurable cost effective results for the substance, efficiency, productivity and quality. This is an on-site position in Boise, Idaho, overseeing the Supply Chain vertical that supports our Boise Main Medical Center, Boise Children’s Hospital and Boise Reference Laboratory. This individual will Supervise a staff of 28 individuals.

 

What to Expect: 

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of the supply chain operations within a single unit or a multiple site department.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.
  • Oversee the department's safety and quality standards for staff and department technical responsibilities.
  • Makes recommendations, and assist with developing operational policies and procedures for the department.
  • Assists with preparation and monitoring of departmental budget.
  • Oversee daily operations of a team of moderate to highly skilled support staff.

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience: 3 years relevant experience w/Bachelors degree, 5 years w/Associates degree or 7 years w/High School Diploma or equivalent.
