Overview

St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking an Applications Analyst to join our IHT Pharmacy team. 

With a high degree of latitude, the Application Analyst - Pharmacist analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed electronic pharmacy systems. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Analyzes and modifies data systems.  
  • Resolves system related problems through appropriate research methods and communication with user department personnel and vendor personnel.  
  • Analyzes reports in relation to system capabilities.  
  • Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution.  
  • Prepares detailed program specifications and requirements, identifies required inputs, participates in the design, development, and testing of systems.  
  • Follows department procedures relative to request tracking, documentation and change control.  
  • Oversees and implements sound system or device testing strategies; oversees the implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications.  
  • Handles the most complex issues.  
  • Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.  
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group; may act as a lead or first-level supervisor.  
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Education: Doctorate in Pharmacy or experience in lieu of Doctorate 
  • Experience: 3 years relevant experience.  
  • Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Pharmacist in state of practice.
