This position is for a Supervisor in our Histology Lab, responsible for overseeing both the Apprentice and Cytology staff. The role involves managing approximately ten direct reports and typically follows daytime hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Supervisor will coordinate between our Pathologists, Physician Assistants, and Grossing Technicians. A solid understanding of histology and cytology processing steps is essential, as the Supervisor is expected to assist with frontline tasks as needed. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for various procedures that require immediate embedding, staining, and the use of a cryostat for cutting.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate of Science or 2 years additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience: 3 years' experience.
• Certification: None.
