Overview

The Manager, Payer Relations & Contracting is a key leadership role accountable for St. Luke's Health System's managed care contract portfolio, to include activities related to new contract inception, current contract analysis, redline/revisions, payer negotiations, and system level approvals. As an internal expert in payer reimbursement strategies, the Manager will provide insight and guidance to internal stakeholders and the leadership team with regard to managed care contract capabilities, in alignment and advancement of the overall strategic operational goals of St. Luke's Health System.  

 

What You Can Expect:  

  • Complete all aspects of select payer contracts, from inception to Site-level acceptance.
  • Participate in all third-party payer contract meetings.
  • Take the lead role in coordinating select major payer contract negotiations, working collaboratively with the Director of System Contracting to complete approval.
  • Administer the process to monitor contract renewal dates and other notification requirements.
  • Serve as the focal point to coordinate system-level physician contracting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 year's relevant experience
