What You Can Expect:

Serve as the primary Section 1557 Coordinator, ensuring St. Luke’s compliance with Section 1557 requirements across all health programs and activities. Lead investigations into grievances related to noncompliance, develop actionable solutions, and coordinate organizational responses to ensure alignment with federal regulations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receives, reviews, and processes grievances.
  • Coordinates...
      • Recordkeeping requirements.
      • Training of relevant employees, including maintaining required documentation.
      • Effective implementation of language access procedures.
      • Effective implementation of effective communication procedures.
      • Effective implementation of reasonable modification procedures.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with ADA or nondiscrimination regulations/laws.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a risk management, patient safety or patient relations environment or 2 years of experience in a clinical care position.
