Overview

Join our dynamic team at the Boise Campus as a Lab Apprentice, where you will play a crucial support role within our laboratory. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of laboratory tasks and operations.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Ordering and Inventory Management**: Oversee the ordering process and maintain inventory levels to ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and operational.

- **Placing Standing Orders and Creating POs**: Assist with the placement of standing orders and the creation of purchase orders to streamline laboratory operations.

- **Daily Sweat Chloride Collections**: Responsible for the collection of sweat chloride samples on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

- **Billing Processes for Sendouts Departments**: Help complete billing processes for sendout departments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

- **Outpatient Phlebotomy Assistance**: Provide support in outpatient phlebotomy as needed, including blood draws and sample collection.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors' Degree or 4 years experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 0 years' experience.
  • Certification: None.
