What you can expect from this role

 

  • 27 bed unit with 5 chest pain beds
  • Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Center
  • Team-based nursing model (1:4-6 ratio)
  • Self-scheduling unit in 6 week blocks
  • Dedicated ED pharmacist and 24-hour social worker
  • Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
  • Safe working environment reinforced by all team members
  • Certification pay available
  • Additional PTO for night shift offered
  • Full-time (0.9 FTE), night shift opening

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in nursing required, Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred
  • Experience: 1+ year RN Experience; ED experience preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
