Overview

Are you a detail-oriented puzzle-solver who enjoys working in a team environment? The Charge Capture Specialist might be the perfect fit for you! In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that all appropriate charges are captured to maximize revenue. You identify, analyze and reconcile billing errors or omissions by reviewing documentation and educate staff on proper charting techniques to reduce errors. You would also collect health information about services provided including demographic data, appropriate length of stay, third-party payer and continued stay reviews, and other related data concerning patients.

 

Required Criteria:

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Preferred Criteria:

Medical coding background and/or certification strongly preferred
