Schedule:  .6 FTE (48 hours per pay period) 3 (8) hour shifts - 0600-1430, varying days each week Monday-Friday based on surgery schedule. Some call after the shift is required (either 1430-1630 or 1430-1830).   Call is also required 1 weekend every 6-8 weeks and 1 holiday a year. Call response time is 30 minutes.

Unit Summary

The Boise POHA includes 22 patient bays to prep and monitor patients before surgery. Due to the Children’s Hospital being located in the same facility, this site does see the majority of pediatric patients compared to other sites in the organization. The bays include 17 adult bays and 5 pediatric bays.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) 
• Experience: 1+ years of Critical Care, ICU, Pre Op, PACU or ED experience required   
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
• BLS required, ACLS highly preferrred
