Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm onsite.

What You Can Expect:

The HIM Technician is responsible for managing electronic medical records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely documentation.

  • Verify, import, prep, scan, and maintain patient health information in the electronic medical record.
  • Validate completeness of medical record content and notify providers of any deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies through record reviews.
  • Assign documentation deficiencies to appropriate providers and track completion status.
  • Monitor work queues for indexing and maintaining accurate electronic health records.
  • Process requests and release medical records for continuity of care, adhering to privacy standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year experience.
