Secretary 2

The Secretary 2 is responsible for providing administrative assistance and clerical support for management, programs, and other personnel in the division by typing necessary information, maintaining filing systems, assisting with all office procedures, scheduling classrooms and events, and anticipating the needs of the department in order to maintain all departmental activities. 

 

Required Criteria 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of secretarial experience preferred.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Experience with word processing and Windows technology required. Spreadsheet experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension/expression and written comprehension/expression.
  • Ability to manage a stressful work environment that includes frequent interruptions.
