Logistics Manager – Health System Supply Chain

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven logistics leader with a passion for healthcare and supply chain management to be a key player in our high-performing Supply Chain department. As a Logistics Manager enjoying a hybrid work schedule, you will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of logistics operations to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals across our entire health system. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, healthcare providers, and vendors to guarantee that our supply chain operates smoothly—ultimately supporting superior patient care.

What to Expect

• Logistics Leadership: Manage and mentor a talented team of logistics professionals, ensuring the best-in-class performance and operational excellence.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee and streamline processes for transportation, inventory management, and warehousing, ensuring minimal delays and maximum productivity.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and other stakeholders to develop strategies for improving delivery times, reducing costs, and optimizing resource utilization.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with key logistics partners and vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Technology Integration: Leverage cutting-edge logistics technologies and tools to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and enhance supply chain visibility.
• Crisis Management: Quickly identify and resolve any logistics disruptions, ensuring that critical medical supplies reach their destinations without delay.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health regulations and safety standards, ensuring that all logistics activities comply with industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree
• Eight (8) years’ relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, transportation management, and inventory control systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
