Program Manager 2 - Neuro Services

 

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager 2 to join our dynamic Neuro Services team. This critical role will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and participating in a variety of administrative and clinical activities related to the cranial program within our Neuroscience service line.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and manage the conference planning process for neuro conference related events and initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and support for the NPH (Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus) program, working to improve patient outcomes and streamline care pathways.
  • Manage and enhance the pituitary program, fostering collaboration among specialists and ensuring access to cutting-edge treatments.
  • Support and grow our brain tumor program, collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care.
  • Drive quality work initiatives within the cranial program, utilizing data analysis and best practices to improve patient care and safety.
  • Lead and support efforts to obtain and maintain disease-specific certifications relevant to the cranial program, demonstrating our commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement program goals, objectives, and strategies.
  • Monitor program performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, patients, and community partners.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in neuroscience and healthcare regulations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in specialty area
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License from State of Practice

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with the management of neurosurgical patients is highly desirable.
  • Experience in healthcare program management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, quality improvement methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
