Overview

What You Can Expect:

The Manager of Nursing and Patient Care is responsible for managing operation of a single or multiple units based on size with 24/7 responsibility for all nursing and patient care activities to include: patient experience and consumer engagement, stewardship, culture and quality and safety. Direct reports include but aren't limited to Assistant Manager Nursing/Patient Care, RNs, HUCs and CNAs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors' of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 7 years' relevant experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Preferred Criteria

  • Proven leadership and development experience with staff, education, and/or systems
  • PICU experience
  • Program management & strong communication/planning skills
