Day in the Life: 

St. Luke’s is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive On-Site Buyer to manage inventory for our Boise retail pharmacy. This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate stock levels, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors and pharmacy staff to maintain efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory management systems such as Epic and ABC.

 

What to Expect: 

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while minimizing waste.
  • Process and manage purchase orders to maintain appropriate supply levels.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to place orders and resolve any issues.
  • Work closely with pharmacy staff to anticipate and meet inventory needs.
  • Utilize inventory management systems, including Epic and ABC, to track and maintain stock.
  • Identify and address potential inventory shortages or overstock situations.
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.

 

 

 Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of experience in purchasing or pharmacy in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 0 years's experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Pharmacy Technician Registration in state of practice.
