Health Partners is looking for an experienced Director of Healthcare Analytics to lead a team in driving data-informed strategies that enhance clinical and financial outcomes. We are looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who understands the complexities of healthcare data (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, claims), excels at aligning analytics with business goals, and can translate technical insights into actionable strategies.

 

What You Can Expect: 

  • Develop and execute a cohesive analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs and short and long-term goals.
  • Oversees advanced analytics to enable rich insight from multiple external data sets, scenario modeling, and simulations to drive the strategic vision to improve financial performance tied to medical and pharmacy cost trends.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of healthcare, value-based care models, and financial performance metrics to design meaningful analytics solutions.
  • Serves as a leader and subject matter expert of a function that directly impacts clinical and financial outcomes of a clinically and financially integrated network
  • Understands health insurance/managed care business context to translate technical, clinical, financial, and operational problems into analysis, which yields insights and information to support decision-making and direct the team.
  • Leverage expertise in health insurance claims and oversee the design and delivery of analytic solutions tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Partners with IHT and system Data & Analytics to establish an analytical solution roadmap aligned to organization priorities and the delivery of key analytic and data solutions.
  • Partners with broader system team to define scope, requirements, and data validation, and provide prioritization input on requests and needs. Collaborates with vendors and other external parties to develop data requirements and ensures appropriate data validation and integrity.
  • Collaborates outwardly across the system to support the analytical needs of stakeholders to drive performance.
  • Works with and contributes to data management and data governance to understand and help define data policies and standards to ensure high-quality data and analytics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of.
  • 8 years of relevant experience (must include healthcare specific analytics)
