Are you ready to kickstart your career in supply chain? Join us as a Supply Chain Intern! This is an exciting opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, process improvement, and operational efficiency at our Consolidated Service Center (CSC). You’ll assist in improving operational processes, productivity metrics, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement, cost savings, and increased efficiency within the supply chain at St. Luke’s Health System. Working under the supervision of a Consolidated Service Center (CSC) Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and execution of vital supply chain projects that help drive continuous improvement across the CSC.

What You Can Expect

  • This is a PAID Internship: $19.25 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Key Responsibilities include:
    • Project Support: Assist in planning and executing supply chain projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time with attention to detail.
    • Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing operational processes, productivity metrics, and KPIs, including order fulfillment time, inventory turnover rate, cost per unit, and on-time delivery rate.
    • Collaboration: Attend and participate in department meetings, contributing to team initiatives and discussions.

      Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing performance data and recommending improvements to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college or university program with a focus on healthcare or a related business field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Supply Chain majors are preferred.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: You excel at managing multiple priorities and maintaining attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.

  • Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic environments, multitasking and adjusting to changing needs.

  • Team Player: You’re eager to collaborate and contribute to a diverse team, while learning from the experiences of others.

  • Analytical Mindset: You enjoy working with data to uncover insights that drive business decisions.
