What You Can Expect

In this exciting and impactful role, you’ll work alongside a passionate team of internal and external stakeholders to manage complex contracts, negotiate with vendors, and deliver strategic solutions for the healthcare industry.

  • Contract Negotiation: Take the lead in negotiating and finalizing contracts for assigned categories and vendors, ensuring alignment with company objectives and quality standards.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with internal stakeholders to define requirements and ensure contracts align with organizational goals while maintaining positive relationships with external vendors.

  • Complex Contracts: Manage high-dollar, complex contracts, integrating with supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

  • RFP & RFQ Expertise: Gain hands-on experience in the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) process in the healthcare setting, sharpening your expertise in this key area.

  • Policy Development: Drive the creation and implementation of contract-related policies that optimize quality, compliance, and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • Five (5) years relevant experience 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Robust Contract Management: Experience in negotiating, editing/tracking changes/red-lining contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both organizational and vendor requirements on high-value, complex contracts.

  • Vendor Relationship Expertise: Proven success in building and maintaining positive, professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • RFP & RFQ Experience: Hands-on experience in managing RFP and RFQ processes

  • You are a Problem-Solver with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
