St. Luke’s Health System is seeking an experienced ICU or ER Trauma Level 2 RN to join our Crisis team in our Boise, Meridian or Nampa location.
Shift: Full Time - nights; 3/12 hour shifts

When skills not needed for crisis situation, the Crisis RN will round in all units on patients admitted from the ED or transferred out of Critical Care in last 24 hours and work with the administrative supervisor to provide assistance with other patient care interventions that can be interrupted for emergency calls. Crisis RN also collaborates with floor charge RNs/ANMs and bedside RNs to assist in assessment and monitoring of the most critical patients on each floor per the charge RN/ANM.

Unit/Position Summary
The CMA is responsible for assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician. The CMAs prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment. A CMA prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens, as well as entering diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a Licensed Independent Provider (LIP).

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a School of Technology for Medical Assistants
Certifications:
- Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant
- NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, NHA
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification

The Hospice Support RN performs PRN visits, admission/informational visits, imminent visits and some scheduled visits.
St Luke's Hospice is an interdisciplinary team serving terminally ill patients in homes, ALFs, CFHs, and SNFs with diagnosis mix of Cancer, Heart Disease, Pulmonary Disease, Alzheimer’s/Dementia, Renal Disease, ALS, Liver Disease, Stroke, etc. Team members work autonomously in the community setting serving patients within the spectrum of the 4 levels of hospice care: Routine, Continuous, General Inpatient, and Respite.
The interdisciplinary team is comprised of Care Coordinator RNs, Weekday Support RNs/LPNs, Weekend Support RNs/LPNs, Night Support RNs, Medical Social Workers, Chaplains, Certified Nursing Assistants, Massage therapists, Volunteers, and Medical Staff including a nurse practitioner and physicians.
Dependable, strong critical thinking, self-starters dedicated to quality patient care will be successful in this role. Strong nursing comprehension of disease processes is essential. Previous Hospice experience is preferred, but not required.
