The Lab Assistant 2 is responsible for the pre-analytical processing of laboratory specimens AND/OR for the procurement and preparation of laboratory specimens for testing. Performs routine tasks and tests under general supervision.
Phlebotomy experience or certification is highly preferred.
Schedule: 16 hrs every 2 weeks (8hrs/week)

Position Summary
With direct accountability to the President and Chief Executive Officer and operational reporting relationship to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Vice President of Philanthropy is responsible for planning, implementation, creation, and evaluation of all aspects of St. Luke’s Health System’s philanthropic programs. The Vice President will lead the overall strategy of a comprehensive fundraising program in support of philanthropic initiatives, including the management and oversight of the existing community foundations and their respective executive director.
This Vice President of Philanthropy must be intrepid, have exceptional executive skills and lead with a collaborative style. The ideal candidate will be a coach, builder, creator, innovator, and accelerator. They will be able to hold onto a vision and have the roll-up-their-sleeves attitude to accomplish it.

The Boise Operating room serves all specialties outside CVOR and L&D. We are the largest OR in the system and support the highest acuity patient population in Pediatric Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, ENT, OMF, Plastics, Urology, Bariatrics and General surgery. We have a fast-paced environment that encourages teamwork and fosters ongoing growth. Our facility is co-located with both the regions Children’s Hospital and the Cancer Institute.
The Boise OR has 4 Specialty Service Line Teams:
General/Pediatric (Trauma); St. Luke’s is the pediatric trauma center for the state of Idaho
Robotics/Oscopy: Three robots making St. Luke’s one of the largest robotic programs in the Northwest
Orthopedics: Specializing in robotic joint surgery, pediatric orthopedic procedures, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma
Neurology: Neurosurgery with BrainLab and Stealth technologies, craniotomies, subdural hematomas, aneurysms, and fusions of the cervical and lumbar spine

Connect is a health care contact call center, located in downtown Boise. We are the gateway to our patient’s healthcare experience. We provide a variety of services in a non-patient setting, which include, high contact on the phone and online with customers and providers, phone scheduling and pre-registering patients for clinics and imaging centers, insurance authorizations, referral management, community services and surgery scheduling services. Each day over 250 + Connect Specialists navigate patients, families, and providers across the health care continuum.
