This position is on-site in Meridian, Idaho.     Responsibilities - Responsible for planning and forecasting of medical and non-medical inventory level based on historical trends, reoccurring buys, seasonal forecasts, purchase trends, and current inventory levels. - Responsible for the most complex inventory assignments for a broad scope of product and vendors, as well as developing and maintaining the highest levels of inventory strategies. - Reviews and sets optimal inventory levels using system generated demand plans and best in class reorder methods and tools. Reviews forecasted demand with appropriate stakeholders and makes adjustments based on forecast accuracy and localized service area climate(s). - Develops strategies to maximize opportunities and mitigate risk. Responsible for managing inventory driven costs and optimizing overall inventory spend and levels. Drives strategies to reduce inventory excess, obsolescence, devaluation and overall cost of capital. - Manages a team to analyze, identify and implement opportunities for improvements to the forecasting process to achieve specific service level and inventory productivity goals/agreements.
