Come be a part of the vascular access team who specializes in placing bedside PICC lines, Midlines, and difficult PIVs with the use of ultrasound.
The vascular access team works with bedside nurses, physicians, case managers and other inter-departmental team members to ensure early initiation of vascular access device (VAD) selection and implementation. Vascular access nurses assess patients with difficult vasculature for PIVs, Midlines and PICC lines with the use of ultrasound technology. This team is also responsible for assisting in vascular access troubleshooting and providing appropriate education. We review medical records for possible contraindications and obtain informed consent when appropriate. The vascular access team helps to determine the best vascular access device for the patient based on current access, length of stay, diagnoses, length of IV therapy, etc.
Qualified applicants will be trained on proper insertion, maintenance, and assessment of vascular access devices. They will become proficient in safe placement of PICC lines, midlines, and PIVs under ultrasound. The expectation is that the team member will obtain their national certification for vascular access within one year of hire.
3-10 hour shifts (0730-1800), rotating weekends.
This role occasionally floats to the Nampa location as well.

Responsibilities
The Pharmacist is responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients and customers of the medical center.
- Manage all aspects of a medically integrated oncology specialty pharmacy from first receiving the prescription, to dispensing, counseling, and long-term follow-up for patients
- Provide counseling to patient on oncology specialty medications including all aspects of high-level oncology care from administration, handling, side effects, and drug interactions
- Recommend dose modifications or changes to treatment to oncologists based on patient’s specific factors such as drug interactions, hepatic/renal function or other applicable reasons
- Prescribe supportive care medications, update prescriptions with dose changes, and order accompanying labs/tests through an inclusive oncology collaborative practice agreement
- Precept and aid in the development and growth of residents of an ASHP accredited PGY 2 oncology residency program
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
- PGY2 Oncology Residency or three (3) years of experience in Oncology is preferred
St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic to join our Air St. Luke's team.
Pay Range: $26.95/HR-$40.29/HR Depending on Experience
Flight Paramedic Certification (FPC) Certification preferred- Must obtain within 2 years of hire
1 12 and 1 24-hour shift per week. Combination of fixed wing and ground critical care and some ALS ground shifts
Will be part of the perfusion team (IABP and Impella)
Responsibilities
The Paramedic - Critical Care functions as a member of the transport team and practices Critical Care (CC) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) in a hospital or interfaculty transport setting.
- Continuously monitors and reassesses the patient's status during transport and with other team members provides therapeutic interventions to maintain patient stability.
- Incorporates principles of transport physiology and transport safety and clinical assessment during transport.
- Through the use of SBAR, shares essential information with team members, physicians, and staff from referring hospitals, emergency personal and other customers.
- Identifies patient needs, establish priorities and provides appropriate interventions.
- Initiates appropriate interventions based upon protocols or online medical control.
- Collects key information from the physician, medical staff, patient, family, laboratory and other sources.
- With the Transport RN, determines priorities for safety and patient care.
- Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Functions in helicopter, fixed-wing and ground transports of BLS, ALS, and critical care patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 3 years relevant experience
- Licenses/Certifications: EMT-P State of Practice;
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification; and
- Valid driver's license.

The Registered Nurse will support the Women Service's (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery) unit at St. Luke's Elmore Critical Access Hospital. This unit cares for low-risk maternity patients. Delivery and Post Partum care, with about 15-20 births per month.
