With opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive community of colleagues, St. Luke’s is truly a great place to work.   What You Can Expect: -Part-time position is Monday/Tuesdays 1500-0100 at Meridian Medical Center. - Under limited/moderate supervision, the Security Officer 2 is responsible for the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, staff, and hospital property. - Makes periodic tours of premises and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are properly secured; guards property against damage, fire, theft, trespassing and illegal entry; controls access to health system facilities. - Applies de-escalation tactics in working with high risk patients, ensuring patients do not harm themselves or others; participates in care plan for high risk individuals, including physical control within established parameters. - Uses preventative patrol and loss prevention techniques; investigates incidents, collects data and reports security, safety and fire hazards. - Investigates disturbances, may serve as liaison with police, and in the event of an emergency, maintains order and safety of personnel. - Maintains daily log; maintains security equipment. - Directs patrons or employees and answers questions relative to location of organization's services. - May monitor patient, visitor and employee parking in garages, lots and zones, enforce parking regulations and issue parking citations when appropriate. - Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. - Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. - May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.     Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience: 2 years relevant experience - Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license in state of practice and proof of driver's insurance

Able to perform and/or train to perform spirometry, POCT as required. - working in the trach vent clinic. - Day to Day Duties- this position supports our Boise, Meridian and potentially Fruitland Children’s Pulmonology clinic practices, as well as assist in our Trach Vent Multidisciplinary clinic monthly.  The applicant supports daily clinic functions including rooming patients, providing education and support to families either in-person or electronically through electronic medical record (mychart).  This applicant will be trained to perform office spirometry to help assess asthma and pulmonary function.  They will work with providers, community partners, and patient families to coordinate care, home respiratory supplies, medication refills, and provide over the phone support and triage.   Qualifications: - Education: Accredited program in alignment with licensure requirements - Experience: 0 years experience - Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials by National Board for Respiratory Care Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification - License: Valid license to practice respiratory therapy in state of practice
