Unit/Position Summary
Under limited supervision, the Charge Capture Specialist, is responsible for ensuring that all appropriate charges are captured to maximize revenue.
- Dev Ops usage
- Enter, track, update, and work to resolution any projects, initiatives, requests, etc. that is requested of or requires the CCS to spend significant time on (researching, correcting, escalating, resolving, etc).
- Revenue Audit and Compliance

- Train clinical leaders on how to reconcile their revenue based on established criteria and timelines.
- Hold regular meetings (30-90 days) with clinical leaders responsible for revenue.

Responsibilities
- Identifies, analyze and reconciles billing errors or omissions by reviewing documentation and educate staff on proper charting techniques to reduce errors.

- Collects health information about services provided including demographic data, appropriate length of stay, third-party payer and continued stay reviews, and other related data concerning patients.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Care Advisor works with physicians and multidisciplinary care team members to assess patient needs and develop a care plan. The Care Advisor uses assessment skills and appropriate risk assessment tools to identify patients with actual or potential health care needs that would require post-acute care coordination. This position collaborates with interdisciplinary teams in establishing mutual goals based on the patient's needs or problems. The Care Advisor evaluates, compares and interprets ambiguous and changing clinical patient data. This individual explores patient's understanding and knowledge of current health status.
WHAT WILL I DO? This position will decrease variability and waste by standardizing rehabilitation and medical care in coordination with hospitals and post-acute care facilities.
