As the subject matter expert, the Imaging Service Engineer 3 performs highly skilled/advanced technical and advisory work in the installation, maintenance, modification, construction, demonstration, and repair of high complex (Digital Radiography, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and CT) diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments.   Duties/Responsibilities: - Analyzes, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and calibrates complex diagnostic imaging equipment systems utilizing established electronic tests and measurement equipment and techniques. - Performs scheduled maintenance, calibrations, and/or modifications on imaging equipment in accordance with department procedures, manufacturers' recommendations, and/or other applicable codes and standards. - Assists in the planning, installation, de-installation, and disposal of diagnostic imaging equipment. - Advanced understanding of developing X-ray and how X-ray impacts patient care and safety. - Completes independent quality assurance testing and calibration of highly complex systems in conjunction with the radiation physicist to complete tasks. - Advanced understanding of the following modalities and their application to patient care in Imaging: Portable X-ray, Bone Densitometry, CR Devices, injectors, General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, CT, and/or MRI. - Expert in regulatory requirements for Imaging, CMS, the Joint Commission, and Idaho Medical Imaging Standards from the Idaho State Department of Health. - Utilizes appropriate test equipment to perform testing, calibration, and operational validation of medical imaging equipment in a patient care environment - Requests/orders necessary repair and spare parts according to established procedures and contract relationships. - Assists, if requested, in the selection process for new equipment purchases, installations, and contract assessments. - Provides training and mentorship to lower-level imaging technicians. - Maintains communication with stakeholders to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, enhancing program satisfaction. - Performs other duties as assigned. St. Luke’s Clinic: Infectious Disease seeks a BC/BE Infectious Disease physician to join our phenomenal team of extensively trained and highly dedicated providers comprised of five physicians and three APP's, with the upcoming recruitment of an ID pharmacist to shortly follow. This position consists of a mixture between 66-75% inpatient and 25-33% outpatient, with rounding at the Boise, Meridian, Nampa hospitals and Infectious Disease Clinic. We serve patients with acute and chronic complex infections. The practice is primary general infectious diseases but do have a bone marrow transplant program, Chair the Infection Control committees and provide antimicrobial stewardship leadership. Our infectious disease physicians have direct APP support, and as well as the option for providing care by way of telemedicine.   Call is 1:6 weekendswith very minimal night call by phone, between two to four nights per month.
