At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Athletic Trainer Residents strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences.   What You Can Expect: - Provide athletic training services under the supervision of attending physician staff and athletic training staff. - Complete all planned resident clinical and didactic educational programming. Including but not limited to operating room assist, interventional and diagnostic ultrasound, and musculoskeletal radiology interpretation curricula and programming. Research responsibilities: preparation and manuscript in a peer review journal presentations. - Participate in educational program development, and community service activities. - Uses preventative measures appropriately; provide standard immediate care procedures used in emergency situations; clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning. - Assists with incoming patient problem calls and outside physician or health care staff questions. - Aid the physician in preparing patients for injections that will be performed by the attending physician. Preparations include cleaning and disinfecting the area to be injected and preparing materials to be utilized both prior to and after the injection. - Dictation and documentation of each patient visit following guidelines outlined in the dictation template.   Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in athletic training. - Licenses/Certifications: Licensed as a Certified Athletic Trainer the State of practice within 90 days of employment.
