Within SLCI, the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program is a beacon of comprehensive care and cellular therapy for individuals battling leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders, and other blood cancers. Distinctively, Boise SLCI hosts Idaho's sole BMT and Hematologic Malignancies Program, ensuring patients access to the most cutting-edge therapies in their community.   The role of the BMT RN is a versatile position characterized by medical guidance, educational support, and compassionate care within an interprofessional team framework. Primary responsibilities include patient education, care coordination, phone triage, and hands-on involvement in the newly established BMT Infusion Clinic, where stem cell transplant and CAR T patients are evaluated and managed.
