At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Crisis RNs strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences.   Are you a nurse who can easily manage emergent situations?  And someone who loves mentoring others to help develop their critical thinking skills?  Then our Crisis RN role might just be the position you've been searching for!   The Crisis Nurse works under our Clinical Support Unit and responds to and leads interventions on the following inpatient calls; Adult Rapid Response Team, Code Blue, Code Stroke, Code STEMI, and Code Sepsis as requested. They collaborate with other specialty areas such as OB and Pediatrics when those patients have critical needs.   When skills are not needed for crisis situations, the Crisis RN will round in all units on patients requiring closer monitoring, or those recently transferred out of Critical Care. They will also provide in-time teaching and build relationships throughout the hospital as they make their rounds.
