With opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive community of colleagues, St. Luke’s is truly a great place to work.   What You Can Expect: - 0700-1530 Monday – Friday, occasional weekend and after hours - The Carpenter 2, under general supervision, performs skilled carpentry work in the construction, maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities, and related work as required.   - Works from drawings or verbal instructions and operates a variety of carpentry hand and power tools or equipment. - Remodels and repairs cabinets, counters, shelves, tables and miscellaneous furniture. - Alters and repairs a variety of building structures such as walls, partitions, doorways, window frames, stairways and roofs. - Estimates time and material costs on carpentry projects and requisitions new carpentry materials and equipment. - Complies with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements. - May coordinate the day-to-day operations of a group of employees, laborers, contractors, material suppliers, and/or vendors. - May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group. - Handles moderately complex issues using knowledge of procedures and policies. Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. - Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.   Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience: 2 years' related experience - Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License
