Our small unit of dedicated nurses work in partnership with our Maternal Fetal Medicine doctors as well with our Family Practice Residency physicians. Together we work to provide state of the art medical management and expertise in high risk assessment and care. Because of these relationships, those who have stayed on Antepartum through pregnancy often request to return after delivery for their postpartum care. Our nurses accommodate these requests as often as possible because of the vested bond they also feel toward these patients they have cared for. Families and friends are welcome and encouraged to visit and support these patients. Baby showers often occur in the spacious Family Lounge.
