This candidate must hold a minimum 0.1 FTE (1 - 8hr shift per pay period) in chemo infusion.   Supervisor Role 0.5 FTE Week 1 - 3 days - 8 hrs Week 2-  2 days - 8 hrs   Charge RN/Infusion Role Flexibility for 0.1-0.5 FTE in addition to the supervisor days.    Flexibility to shift days between the leadership pair.   Clinic hours: M-F 0630-1800 Open holidays – Rotating leadership responsibilities (1 holiday a year).   Clinic Overview: 24 Chairs/beds. ***SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE***   St. Luke’s Health System is searching for a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our clinic team.   Unit/Position Summary · The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP) is an exciting opportunity for LPN/LVNs to join St. Luke’s and receive standardized onboarding, while having the opportunity to rotate through clinics to find a position in a Treasure Valley clinic. Treasure Valley work locations will vary based on current open positions and preference, including location, specialty, and shift.   Shift/Schedule: · Day shift · Full time, part time and temporary positions available   Responsibilities: · Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients’ charts. · Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Sterilizes, cleans, and performs checks on medical equipment. · Prepares patients for examination. · Performs medical procedures within scope of roles and responsibilities. · Processes prescription medication for refill under the supervision of a licensed independent provider. · Assists licensed independent provider in patient exams and office procedures. · Prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens. · Enters diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a licensed independent provider. · Provide and document direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. · Assists providers and performs healthcare services to patients in clinics · Identifies and reports patient care needs through data collection, planning, intervention and evaluation. · Identifies patient need for education and provides approved hospital education materials. · Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.   Qualifications · Education o Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program · Certifications o Current Licensed Practical Nuse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice o Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross   *St. Luke’s is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other status or condition protected by law.
