Works under close supervision and clearly defined policies and procedures.   Program Overview The program takes place over an 11-week timeframe. Each CNA-T will complete an 8-week academic program through a local community college in a hybrid model of in-person and online learning. Concurrently, apprentices will build on this learning through a St. Luke’s apprenticeship experience through clinical precepting, accented with in-class and simulation learning.   CNA-Ts will prepare and sit for the CNA credentialing exam at the end of the program. Upon passing, qualified individuals will be eligible to transfer to a Certified Nurse Assistant position in St. Luke’s.   Program Details  Individuals accepted into the program are hired as full-time employees. The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.
