JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for identifying cost savings opportunities and supplier selection processes within the implant category, including, but not limited to, contract management, supplier negotiation, utilization improvements and standardization .
- Supports Category Leaders to operationalize supplier management process, including supplier development activities within implants category. Promotes better practices and operational excellence within category and benchmarks performance.
- Manages and models the implants category annual spend across St. Luke’s Health System (SLHS) acute care facilities. Leads cross-functional sourcing teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies aimed at category standardization, capitation and/or market share growth.
- Develops short and long term distribution and inventory management strategies for implants to improve flexibility and efficiency of clinical devices

Under limited supervision, the Trauma Registry Coder is responsible for reviewing applicable documentation and collecting pertinent data in the trauma registry. The Trauma Registry Coder is also responsible for assigning ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and AIS codes to reflect the procedures performed and the severity of the injury.
