Patient Access Specialists are responsible to respond to patient, provider, and department/service area needs with a high emphasis on customer service and accuracy. The Supply Chain Technician 1 is responsible for typical supply chain operations and logistic functions to include but not limited to distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery, inventorying and stocking.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Courier:
The Courier is responsible for the transportation of patient-related materials, mail, medical supplies, equipment, linen and other items as needed.
•Sort and deliver items.
•Complete forms for tracking and accountability of deliveries.
•Maintain vehicle in clean, fueled, and ready condition.
Distribution:
The Distribution Clerk is responsible for issuing medical/surgical supplies to all user departments in a prompt and efficient manner.
•Answer inquiries on product availability.
•Fill requisitions from stock.
•Unloads, breaks down, tickets and stocks supplies.
Warehouse:
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing material, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
•Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.

Position Summary
Under supervision of a licensed provider, the Certified Anesthesia Technician assists with routine to complex procedures before, during, and after anesthesia procedures. Schedule- Mon-Thursday 18:30-5:00am, call x1 a month, x2 holiday shift coverage in a 12- month period.
Responsibilities
- Under supervision, assists anesthesia providers by setting-up equipment and preparing medications.
- Assists the licensed provider with patient assessments, evaluations, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines and airway management.
- Assists the licensed provider in clinical settings such as the operating room (OR), obstetrics suite (OB), interventional and or diagnostic radiology, Post anesthesia care unit (PACU).
- Assists in direct patient care under supervision in routine & emergency situations.
- Acts as a resource and collaborates with other resources and departments by providing technical guidance and instruction as appropriate.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: 2 years’s clinical experience
- Licenses/Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
- Must have current certification in one or more of the following areas:

The Medical Lab Scientist 2 is responsible for performing routine tests in clinical laboratories for use in treatment and diagnosis of diseases. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A general degree of creativity and latitude is required. May act as a mentor/trainer to junior members of team.
- Tests specimens in an accurate, organized and prioritized manner following laboratory procedures and policies to ensure quality and time guidelines in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements.
- Collects a variety of specimens as required by specific section needs, with skill and sensitivity to needs of the patient.
- Ensures specimens are properly identified, collected, labeled and stored.
