Orthopedics: Specializing in robotic joint surgery, pediatric orthopedic procedures, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma

Schedule: We offer a variety of either day or evening schedules with 10 or 12 hour shifts. Weekend shifts are also available with a differential. Some call is required- could include: evenings, nights, holidays and weekends- call response time is 30 minutes.

The Boise Operating room serves all specialties outside CVOR and L&D. We are the largest OR in the system and support the highest acuity patient population in Pediatric Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, ENT, OMF, Plastics, Urology, Bariatrics and General surgery. - Evaluates and manages head injuries and concussions and develops appropriate return to play guidelines in collaboration with system entities.
- Ensures an Emergency Action Plan be put in place and discussed with the school's Athletic Director, coaches, and athletes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor degree
- Licenses/Certifications: Licensed as a Certified Athletic Trainer the state of practice. Board of Certification (BOC) certified. Current CPR/first responder certification and/or CPR for the healthcare provider. Valid Drivers License and Insurance.

What You Can Expect:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift with full time and part time opportunities available.
- One Varian True Beam averaging 20-30 patients per day. CT Sim on site.
- No call required, but optional if desired.
- Fruitland serves a large radius of rural populations, with the ideal candidate desiring a small-town way of life and becoming part of the community.
- Strong safety culture and continued work to maintain process improvement to mitigate unnecessary errors.
Minimum Qualifications for this Role:
- Education: Bachelors’ degree or Associates’ degree with 2 additional years of experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy
