St. Luke’s Health System in McCall is seeking a full time RN to join our Surgical Services team. This position will cover OR, PACU and Preop based on team/department needs.
* $15k Sign on bonus based on OR experience * (new hires only)
Summary
The RN Circulator is responsible for Preparation of OR prior to surgery, prep of patient when in OR, maintaining sterile environment during surgery, monitoring patient and ensuring safety and quality during surgery. Identifying needs of surgeon and healthcare team to eliminate potential health risks. These nurses are also responsible for some recovery and patient care after surgery.
Schedule: 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) working Monday - Friday 8 (9) hour shifts per pay period based on staffing needs with varied days off. Start times will vary from 0630-0800 based on surgerey schedule. More often a start of 0700. Some call required. Call response time is 30 minutes.

Responsibilities
- Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
- Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.

We are hiring for a Registered Nurse at our St. Luke's Clinic – Psychiatric Wellness Services team in Nampa.
What you can expect from this role
The care team is made up of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and mental health therapists that are trained to provide compassionate psychiatric and behavioral health care services.
We provide a full spectrum of psychiatric services to adults with varying diagnoses, including but not limited to: depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), psychosis, dual diagnosis, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The RN will assist with clinical triage, de-escalation/resolution for crisis calls (common) & walk-in patients (rare), conduct assessments, care coordination with patients and providers, provide peer support to PAS and MAs, perform injections and POCT, and participate in process improvement projects or pilots.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday & Friday required) or
- Five 8-hour shifts per week

St. Luke’s Children’s Day Treatment Center serves adolescents and their families seeking a high level of mental health care while being able to return home in the evening. This program provides an environment in which youth feel valued and cared for, and where they can develop skills that will stay with them throughout their lives.
What you can expect from this role
The RN will provide nursing support to both outpatient pediatric psychiatry and the partial hospitalization program as part of a nurse team. The nurse must be comfortable providing care to patients suffering anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.

You will provide imminent visits to include PRN symptom management for terminally ill patients in homes. In addition, you will be auditing charts for all admissions and recertifications and tracking orders to ensure accuracy and completion. This position allows you to work from home or in the office and requires travel within the Treasure Valley when needed for home visits. The person needs to be able to work autonomously and as a team, have interpersonal and communication skills, and have a true passion and desire to care for end-of-life patients to ensure their needs are met.

The Crisis Nurse works under our Clinical Support Unit and responds to and leads interventions on the following inpatient calls; Adult Rapid Response Team, Code Blue, Code Stroke, Code STEMI, and Code Sepsis as requested. They collaborate with other specialty areas such as OB and Pediatrics when those patients have critical needs.
When skills are not needed for crisis situations, the Crisis RN will round in all units on patients requiring closer monitoring, or those recently transferred out of Critical Care. They will also provide in-time teaching and build relationships throughout the hospital as they make their rounds. They work closely with multiple teams with the goal of providing early intervention to avoid emergency situations.

Dedicated to the continuum of care as patients transition from inpatient to home to outpatient settings for care. Our home-based services team (NP, RN, MA, MSW) also assists with oversighting transitions. Close working relationship with St. Luke’s Hospice team.
The Home Care Coordinator works with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and manage a plan of care from admission to discharge for an assigned case load. This is a direct care position providing in home care that requires traveling within the Treasure Valley area.
