We strive to foster an environment that embraces our employees' unique strengths, experiences and perspectives which ultimately drives our exceptional, patient-centered care.   As a Health System Pharmacy Technician at St. Luke's, you have the opportunity to continue growing your career a variety of pharmacies across our health system in the Treasure Valley, from Boise to Fruitland.   Inpatient Techs prepare and compound meds for our admitted patients, deliver throughout the hospital, and prepare pharmaceutical kits, all while working with our nursing staff to meet patients' needs.    Cancer Institute Techs prepare oncology medications in a cleanroom, purchase meds, and clean and stock the pharmacy.    Infusion Center Techs also compound medications!   Community Techs work directly with patients in our retail, specialty, "micro-pharmacies" in our clinics, medication locker program, and Home Delivery. Our Community Pharmacy Techs prepare and deliver our patients' medications, submit insurance claims, input prescription data, coordinate Med Syncing, and assist our patients in person and over the phone.   Transitions of Care Techs work with our patients prior to admittance and as they are discharging from the hospital  - Meds to BedsTechs fill take-home medications for our pharmacists to deliver bedside to our patients prior to discharge, which helps with medication adherance and eliminates the need for a stop on their way home. - Medication Historian Techs work bedside with our patients reviewing their medication history, reaching out to our patients' pharmacies and current providers to obtain their most up to date medication history. MHTs review patients' medication lists for discrepancies work closely with pharmacists and providers.  like inpatient pharmacist, nurses, and case management/social work to provide the highest, safest quality of care available. Expect interdisciplinary team approach and opportunities to collaborate with entire care team which may include psychiatrist, primary or specialty care physicians.  Candidate to be proficient in assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, crisis management, family and parenting support and documentation compliance.  Skills in time management, organization, and multi-tasking are important.
