Position Summary

The RT manager/supervisor will be responsible for the activities of the RT Apprentice.

- Initiate assessment based on the patient's presenting problems or needs and the physician's medical diagnosis.

- Independently perform therapeutic interventions on the adult inpatient care floor. Excludes: Ventilators, emergency room, all critical care and pediatrics. If under continuous direct supervision, RT interns may perform any excluded intervention.

The Medical Assistant Training Program is a paid apprenticeship opportunity lasting approximately 7-8 months that is designed to provide our MA-Ts with the knowledge, education and skills to be successful in their careers as CMAs in the multiple clinic settings offered at St. Luke's.
The program is based on classroom time, continuing education, study time, and rotations through Family Practice, Internal Medicine and a Specialty clinic to offer a well-rounded experience.
This program is also designed to prepare MA-Ts to successfully take the certification exam. Now is the time to join a passionate, patient-focused team and start on the path of personal and professional growth in a rewarding and exciting industry.

Required Criteria:
- Education:
- High School/GED Diploma
- Experience:
- A minimum of six (6) months of healthcare experience, including but not limited to: Patient Specialist, CNA, phlebotomy, EMT, dental assisting, pharmacy tech, etc.
- Direct patient care experience preferred
This is an entry-level MA position. No prior MA experience is required. The MA-T will be oriented to skills and tasks within initial scope of practice (determined by experience/training level). On-the-job training will be provided as the MA supports the clinic, and four hours of paid study time will be providedeach week. The MA will advance as competence increases with studies and hands-on experience.
After approximately 7-8 months, the MA will sit for the credentialing exam, and be eligible for a CMA position to support our clinics in a Credentialed Medical Assistant role.

Individuals accepted into the MA-T program are hired as full time employees subject to the timeline of the program and a one year commitment in a CMA role thereafter. Transportation and flexibility will be required as MA-Ts do rotations.

St. Luke’s Health System in Nampa, Idaho is seeking a Part-time Rehabilitation Aide (20 hours/week) to join our Nampa Ventana Clinic team in the Nampa Hospital.
Responsibilities
The Rehabilitation Aide is responsible for providing clinical support and service to therapist.
- Under the supervision of a therapist may actively assist in the treatment of patients.
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain inventory of supplies.
- Performs clerical/administrative duties.
- Ensures operation of therapy equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications: Current CPR/first responder certification.
