St Luke’s outpatient neuro rehab provides a comprehensive and interdisciplinary rehabilitation service focusing on assisting patients with neurological disorders to achieve their highest level of function. St Luke’s outpatient neuro speech language pathologists specialize in the evaluation and treatment of the following neurological disorders:
- Stroke
- Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders
- Mild to severe traumatic brain injury
- Multiple Sclerosis and other degenerative neurological diseases
- Dysphagia
- Cancer rehab (brain tumor, head and neck cancer)
- Voice
Individual patient needs may include:
- Communication and cognitive problems
- Aphasia – loss of the ability to express or understand spoken or written language
- Dysarthria – disturbance in the strength or coordination of the muscles of the speech mechanism
- Apraxia – difficulty sequencing movements or actions related to speech
- Dysphagia – swallowing difficulties
- Voice disorders such as vocal nodules, paralyzed vocal cords, vocal cord dysfunction, and muscle tension dysphonia
- Patient, family, and caregiver training and education

The SLHP Outreach Coordinator position is responsible for facilitating direct patient outreach to discuss services provided by SLHP Care Management,, as well as health-based services/resources across strategic partnerships. This role will also develop and maintain health-based resources that improve the patient experience. Expectations for individual filling this role include someone who is familiar with direct patient outreach, community resources, and administrative tasks.
St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This position will work alongside our DEXA (Bone Density) unit to become trained with the expectation of obtaining the ICSD registry. St. Luke's Elks Rehab supports 4 clinics and an in-patient rehab unit using portable x-rays.
Schedule:
Part Time, 40 hours per pay period
Rotating weekdays: 8am-4pm
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Week 2: Thursday, Friday
No on call or holidays!
This position will also support coverage for vacation, sick days etc. with an opportunity to work more than 40 hours per pay period.

We are the primary COVID floor and, if needed, we are designated to take overflow from the Intermediate Care Unit.
