Unit/Position Summary
The Systems & Electronic Resources Librarian will lead the library’s efforts to create a user-friendly, streamlined online presence, managing the library’s systems and electronic resources.
Responsibilities
- Provides expert library technology administration and management with specialized knowledge of library systems, resources, and middleware, including the ILS, discovery system, online databases, proxy server, link resolver, etc.
- Provides training and education to other library staff on the library’s technology platforms and systems; provides timely, courteous, and efficient library technology assistance and training to patrons.
- Creates and maintains documentation of library systems, processes, and procedures.
- Coordinates and maintains the library’s electronic resources in collaboration with the Collection Development Librarian.
- Serves as the technical liaison with health system technology representatives and vendors for library technology and related systems.
- Participates in redesign and quality improvement of library processes and programs.
- Resolves access and connectivity issues in collaboration with health system IT and vendors.
- Explores, evaluates, and recommends new library technology applications, trends, and best practices; leads and manages implementation.
- Performs assessment of library technologies and web services.
- Provides front desk reference and circulation services as required.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Education: Master's degree in library science from an ALA program with an emphasis on medical librarianship OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Unit/Position Summary
The Ambulatory Clinical Support Unit (clinic float pool) is searching for CMAs to support staffing in our Magic Valley clinics. Ambulatory CSU is a centralized staffing department that provides a high quality float experience to the clinics and patients we serve. This requires CMAs that are energetic, flexible and willing to support the mission of the organization. Ambulatory CSU float pool CMAs maintain competencies for the clinics they support. The requirement includes orienting to and staffing three skill sets and floating is expected within the Treasure Valley. Once orientation concludes, we offer a 10% differential in addition to the base rate.

Responsibilities
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients’ charts.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Sterilizes, cleans, and performs checks on medical equipment.
- Prepares patients for examination.
- Provides technical, clinical, and clerical support to licensed independent provider.
- Performs medical procedures within scope of roles and responsibilities.
- Processes prescription medication for refill under the supervision of a licensed independent provider.
- Assists licensed independent provider in patient exams and office procedures.
- Prepares basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens.
- Enters diagnostic or medication orders under the direction of a licensed independent provider.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a School of Technology for Medical Assistants
Certifications:
- Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
