The cardiac implanted devices include pacemakers, implantable cadrioverter defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders..Our team cares for over 5000 patients through remote monitoring as well as in-person visits.     What you can expect as an Exercise Physiologist/Device Control Specialist at St. Luke’s Heart Rhythm Center: - Utilize cardiac training to monitor alerts and collaborate with device RN's, advanced practitioners, device reps, and electrophysiologists to bring the highest care to our patients. - With training and future certification, assist with triaging alerts, as well as identifying potential malfunctions or sub optimal device operation. - Participate in telephone communication with patients regarding monitor findings or provided recommendations when appropriate. - A typical schedule includes 4(four) 9-hour shifts Monday-Friday (No Holidays). - Certification and shift differential available. - Eligible site for the PSLF student loan program. - Opportunities for career progression.   Qualifications:   - Education: Bachelor's degree - Licenses/Certifications: Current CPR certification - Preferred qualifications: - Cardiology and/or heart rhythm interpretation experience - Degree in Exercise Physiology

What does Flex mean?  Flex employees work between 8 to 32 hours per pay period (every two weeks). Hours/schedules are made in advance according to the employees availability and the needs of the department.  The shifts and the hours will vary from week to week. The ideal candidate is available days, nights, weekends, and holidays.  Details for the Flex schedule: - You have to be available to train full time for the first 4 to 6 weeks.  After that your schedule can vary from 8 to 40  hours per week. - Employees are given their schedules at least one pay period in advance.  This is not an "on call" scenario.  -  Flex positions are not benefits eligible
