St. Luke's Health System's Hospice team is looking for a Hospice Coordinator/Case Manager Registered Nurse with an acute care background, compassion and flexibility.
This is a Full-Time Position.
The Hospice Coordinator works with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop a plan of care for assigned patients. Hospice Nurses are an integral part of the patient care team and are responsible for assessing, planning and coordinating delivery of interdisciplinary home care services and assuring compliance with standards and Federal/State regulations. Overall responsibility for the development and management of the plan of care for the assigned case load. Ability to work independently and previous experience in acute care is highly preferred.
Required Criteria
- Nursing Degree Required, BSN Preferred
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Preferred Criteria
- Previous Home Care, Hospice, or Acute Care experience in highly preferred

Unit/Position Summary
The Boise NICU is one of the larger units in the hospital; serving infants (and their families) requiring medical or surgical care immediately after birth. Infants’ medical conditions vary from extremely premature to ones having difficulty transitioning to extra-uterine life. The Boise NICU has a level 3 designation: treating infants requiring gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal surgeries or treatments. Providing care for all types of NICU patients excluding ECMO and complex cardiac surgery. It is a transport referral site and receives patients from all over the region. The NICU provides 24/7 Neonatology coverage with an in house neonatologist and nurse practitioner. Currently the unit consists of 61 beds.

The St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team. This position will be providing hands on nursing care for Boise’s oncology population by administering high-risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the chemotherapy infusion center. The chemotherapy infusion center also administers blood products, fluids, and injections. The RN is the keystone to the complex, high-quality, compassionate care the communities of southern Idaho and eastern Oregon have come to expect of our organization. Unit Summary:
PreOp has 18 bays for pre-op and phase 2 recovery. Pre-op is a medical/surgical unit specialized in preparing surgical patients for surgery. It is a fast-paced environment requiring the art of customer service, efficiency, and team work to safely prepare patients of all ages for surgery. PACU is a specialized area for patients to recover from anesthesia. The PACU is considered a critical care unit with 9 recovery bays. The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
Schedule: Weekdays 10 or 12-hour shifts. Occasional night or weekend call.
