The care provided by our Hospice team allows people to pass with dignity in their own homes, in familiar surroundings, with those they love by their side. You will provide imminent visits to include PRN symptom management for terminally ill patients in homes. In addition, you will be auditing charts for all admissions and recertifications and tracking orders to ensure accuracy and completion. This position allows you to work from home or in the office and requires travel within the Treasure Valley when needed for home visits. The person needs to be able to work autonomously and as a team, have interpersonal and communication skills, and have a true passion and desire to care for end-of-life patients to ensure their needs are met.

Our pediatric team has more than 150 skilled pediatricians and pediatric specialists, including a full-service hospitalist program who work with providers from around the region to provide high quality care to more than 100,000 pediatric patients annually. Additionally, we have a Level IV NICU and a 13-bed PICU, the first in the state of Idaho. St. Luke's Children's Hospital is also developing a pediatric trauma program.

Qualifications
- Education: Degree from an accredited speech therapy program.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid license or provisional permit to practice speech therapy in Idaho and Current CPR certification
- Preferred qualifications:
- Acute Care/IRU pediatric experience
- Strong speech and language evaluation and treatment skills
- Strong cognitive/executive functioning evaluation and treatment skills
- Feeding experience preferred
- VFSS experience preferred
